2nd Year – National Subsidiary Diploma

BTEC in Creative Media Production (Television and Film) encourages you to develop a broad understanding and knowledge of Digital Media. You will study the working practices of the industry and develop practical skills through working on group and individual projects. Creating a range of work you can then use for a University Showreels or interviews in the industry itself.

Entry Requirements

Essential
Level 2 threshold (5 A*- C grades or equivalent) including a grade C or higher in English.

Desirable
A grade C/BTEC Pass in Media Studies is advisable.

How Will I Be Assessed?

All the units are internally assessed, externally moderated and involve practical and theoretical work. At BTEC Level 3, a Pass is equivalent to grade E, a Merit to grade C and a Distinction* to grade A*.

Career Opportunities & Progression

This BTEC qualifies for UCAS points so, if you complete it successfully, you could go on to study a degree or BTEC National Diploma in related subjects. You could also go on to relevant employment. You will also learn and use a variety of transferable skills throughout the course.
